- 1 lb fresh strawberries washed, hulled and sliced
- 3 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp balsamic vinegar
Stir together sugar and strawberries and then leave them for an hour! (this is when the magic happens!! You can leave them for longer if you like.
Add them plus the other ingredients to a blender and puree.
You can strain it now if you don't like seeds, but they don't bother me.
Pour the mixture into a 9 × 13-inch pan or you can use any container. I use a plastic container.
Put in the freezer.
After 30 minutes, take it out and stir with a fork, breaking up the ice crystals.
Repeat this step about every 30 minutes for about 2 hours.
Serve immediately or wait a few more hours.
If it freezes up completely, then you can let it thaw slightly and put in a blender.
