- ½ pineapple peeled and cored (about 2 cups)
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
Cut the top and bottom off a pineapple and then cut away the peel. Then cut it lengthwise in four pieces and cut out the core.
Cut it into small pieces and add about 2 cups to a blender
Add sugar and water
Puree until all combined. Add more sugar, if you need to.
Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
When ready, take it out of the fridge and make it in an ice cream maker according to manufacture's instructions.
Serve immediately or put in freezer to chill.
