Pineapple Sorbet

Pineapple sorbet is a delicious frozen dessert that is perfect for summertime. It is a great way to enjoy the tropical flavor of pineapple in a new way.

Ingredients
 
 

  • ½ pineapple peeled and cored (about 2 cups)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Cut the top and bottom off a pineapple and then cut away the peel. Then cut it lengthwise in four pieces and cut out the core.
  • Cut it into small pieces and add about 2 cups to a blender
  • Add sugar and water
  • Puree until all combined. Add more sugar, if you need to.
  • Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
  • When ready, take it out of the fridge and make it in an ice cream maker according to manufacture's instructions.
  • Serve immediately or put in freezer to chill.
