Peach Sorbet
Summer is the perfect time to indulge in sweet, refreshing treats, and there's nothing quite like a bowl of homemade Peach Sorbet to cool you down on a hot day.

- 1½ pounds ripe peaches pitted, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1¼ cup water
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp orange liqueur (optional)
Put the chopped peaches and 1/2 cup of the water into a saucepan over medium heat and cook until the peaches are tender, stirring occasionally! This takes about 15 minutes.
Pour hot peaches with the liquid into a blender.
Add the sugar, lemon juice and the rest of the water. Add the orange liqueur as well if you are using.
Puree until all combined.
Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
When ready, take it out of the fridge and make it in an ice cream maker according to manufacture's instructions.
Serve immediately or put in freezer to chill.
